Pet Portraiture
Growing up surrounded by goofy-faced dogs, fur covered clothes, and far less than my fair share of my own bed, I understand how our pets are more than just weird little guys who live in our homes. Capturing their quirky personalities is what made me fall in love with photography, and I can’t wait to document those fleeting moments for you!
THE EXPERIENCE
Session consultation
Before your session, we’ll chat via phone or Zoom to get to know each other and talk about how you would like to best showcase your furry friend! We’ll discuss details such as location, time, and expectation for final product.
Your session!
On the day of your session, we’ll meet at your decided location for a day of fun and excitement!
If you choose to shoot at home, I will supply studio lighting, and we will do a bit of conditioning with your pet to ensure their experience is as stress free as possible.
Whether your pet is a natural model or camera shy, we’ll keep the environment relaxed and create some beautiful memories!
The Reveal
After your session, we will select a date for your virtual image reveal! During this meeting, you will see your images, choose your favorites, and select quality art pieces that will honor your pet in your home for decades to come.
Pricing
Pet portraiture is an investment — one that you’ll cherish for the rest of your life! All packages are built off of the session fee; a non-refundable retainer that reserves your session date and time. During your session, we’ll take all the time we need to capture those perfect moments of your fur baby. Your pet comes first, so we’ll only shoot for as long as they’re able to, and I’ll only ask them to hold poses they are comfortable in. Plus, they’ll receive plenty of treats as a reward for their excellent modeling skills!
After your session, we will meet for the Image Reveal. Here, you’ll see your photos for the first time, chat through package options, and enjoy just how cute your pet is! Though you can finalize your selections at the image reveal, you are absolutely welcome to take time afterwards and make your choices privately. There is no timeline for when you have to decide — it can definitely be hard with so many adorable faces to choose from!
