Plush Ponies
Want to know more about what goes into each hand crafted pony?
-
Peruvian Highland wool is my favorite yarn for these soft, squishy ponies. The yarn arrives in a natural shade, ready for me to hand dye each individual skein to match every horse. Once dyed, the skeins are wound into balls to prepare for crocheting. Each wool pony is stuffed with natural fibers — I strive to keep these ponies as environmentally friendly as possible and maintain a high quality level in all materials.

Each pony goes through several phases; from drafting ideas based on your submitted photos, to crocheting the horse, then to hand felting every dapple, face marking, or paint spot, and finally to your door. My process can take anywhere from six to eight hours for each pony — they’re designed and made with love all the way through.
My goal is to create more than a stuffed horse; I want to make art of your beloved horses for you to cherish for many years to come.
